Video: Newt Gingrich language comment: “language of the ghetto” 
In 2007, Former House speaker and current GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich  described bilingual education as teaching “the language of living in a ghetto”.

 

If Newt Gingrich was not speaking about Spanish then why did he give clarification in Spanish and not French, German or another language?
