China to make Nigeria regional manufacturing hub

From China, the world’s second biggest economy, came a pledge to turn around Nigeria’s industrial landscape and make the assessed biggest market in Africa a major manufacturing hub in the continent.
The disclosure was made during a major business discussion between top officials of the two countries in Chongqing, China, yesterday.
In an agreement reached between the two countries at Chongqing, the far East Asian giant disclosed its investment interest in the assembly of vehicles, among others, in Nigeria.
