13th Chinese navy convoy fleet visits north Africa’s Algeria for 4 days

BEIJING- The 13th Chinese navy convoy fleet has arrived at the capital of Algeria, beginning its 4 day visit to the country.
It’s the first time for a Chinese navy fleet to dock at an Algerian port. During the visit, the two countries’ navies will take part in joint activities.
The convoy fleet begins its visit after completing a 4 month convoy mission in the Gulf of Aden and East Africa’s waters off Somalia. The fleet will continue on to dock at ports in Morocco, in northwest Africa, Portugal and France.
