President Obama to give Syria speech Tuesday
Speaking to reporters at the G-20 summit in St. Petersburg, Russia President Obama on Friday, September 6, 2013, stated he might fail to convince the American public to back proposed U.S. military strikes against Syria.
The President will address the American people on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 about Syria.
Mr. Obama declined to say whether he would order an attack even if Congress rejects authorization, saying he did not want to “jump the gun and speculate, because right now I’m working to get as much support as possible out of Congress.”
