Remember Yesteryear: Black Panther Party and Dr. Huey P. Newton
Dr. Huey Percy Newton was born Feb. 17, 1942, Monroe, Louisiana. Newton was an American political activist. Newton and Bobby Seale co-founded of the Black Panther Party (originally called Black Panther Party for Self-Defense) in 1966.
Huey P. Newton was murdered on August 22, 1989 in Oakland, California.
